A Pike County judge is denying a change of venue request from lawyers representing George Wagner. He and his father, Billy Wagner, are facing murder charges in the April 2016 killings of eight members of the Rhoden family. Attorney John Parker cited heavy media attention and typically low juror turnout in Pike County as reasons for relocating the trial. Judge Randy Deering denied the request but did say he is not positive the court will be able to seat a jury.
