Fuel prices in the U.S. are hitting record high numbers. GasBuddy reports the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded topped out at four dollars and 36 cents per gallon yesterday. The last time prices surged across the country was March 10th, when regular hit four dollars and 35 cents per gallon. Triple A reports yesterday's average in our part of the state was over four dollars and 18 cents a gallon for regular unleaded. Costs for diesel also set an all-time high, coming in at five dollars and 53 cents per gallon.
