Deputy helps kids in woods

A Ross County Sheriffs Deputy helped a group of juveniles out of what could have been a scary situation yesterday evening. Shortly before 9:00 last night, Deputies received a report of kids playing in the park at North Fork Village, who had then had gone into the nearby woods. Sgt. Champion searched the area on foot for the juveniles, and located them on the opposite side of a creek. The children telling the deputy they were scared and did not know how to get back home. Sgt. Champion was able to guide them back across the water, and get them safely back to family members.
