Road work will close the southbound lanes of US 23 tonight for the ongoing bridge rehab project taking place along US 35 west in Chillicothe. ODOT reports that the southbound lanes of US 23 will be closed from 10:00 this evening until 4:00 tomorrow morning. Crews will be using high pressure water to strip the bridge, which could result in debris falling onto the southbound US 23 lanes below. During the six hours that US 23 south is closed, drivers will be detoured via Bridge Street to US 35 east, and then back on to US 23 south.
