Voters locally showed support for a number of fire and EMS levies that appeared on this year's ballot in Ross County. Tax levies before voters in Green, Scioto, Paint Creek, Paxton, Springfield, Huntington, and Twin Townships all passed. It appears that Republican Jack Everson has won a seat on the Ross County Commission, unofficial vote totals show him with a sizable lead over Democrat Doug Corcoran. Ross County voters also were in favor of the children's service levy, which passed easily.
