Criminal Trial of Wagner Family Patriarch May Wait Until 2024

The last individual still facing prosecution for the Pike County Massacre could be waiting until next year to stand trial.

According to WLWT-TV, Retired Brown County Judge Robert Allen Corbin, who is now presiding over the case of Billy Wagner, says hearings might not begin until 2024.

Wagner's two sons and wife have already admitted to, or been found guilty of, killing eight members of the Rhoden family in April of 2016.

Judge Corbin is taking over the case due to Pike County Judge Randy Deering's retirement.
