State Route 380 in Wilmington Set for Brief Closure on March 29th

Preliminary work for an intersection improvement project in Wilmington gets underway later this month.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, beginning Wednesday, March 29th, State Route 380 will be closed at its northbound junction with State Roue 73, just south of Katy’s Lane. Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation will be installing a waterline for Western Water.

The closure will remain in place through Friday, March 31st. While that portion of State Route 380 is closed, motorists will be detoured via US 68, State Route 380, Katy’s Lane and State Route 73.

The overall project includes the widening of State Route 73 at the intersection of State Route 380 for the addition of left turn lanes on State Route 73, and the construction of a new signal. The project will also include a future 21-day closure of State Route 380 at State Route 73. An official start date for that closure though has yet to be determined.
