ODOT Weekly Travel Report Shows Projects in Ross, Pike & Pickaway Counties

A couple of ODOT projects are underway in Ross County.

The Ohio Department of Transportation District 9 released its weekly travel report on Thursday, April 20th and it shows that ODOT is currently working to convert the former weight station along US 23 north into a lot for truck parking. Impacts to US 23 traffic are expected to be minimal.

A bridge replacement is also underway along State Route 138 in Ross County. That work is going on between Austin and Mallow roads. Traffic there is being maintained with the use of temporary signals.

To the south in Pike County, resurfacing is affecting traffic along US 23 between Wakefield Mound Road and the Village of Piketon. That project has traffic in the work zone down to one lane in each direction.

To the north in Pickaway County, in ODOT's 6th District, Commercial Point Road will be closed between West Ford and Van Meter roads on Wednesday, April 26th for a bridge replacement. The Pickaway County Engineer’s Office says that work will then last through Friday, June 23rd, weather permitting.
