The Ashville Viking Festival is this weekend. A few miles north of Circleville, it's in the village park in Ashville, east of South Bloomfield.
Bring a donation for the local food pantry for entry to the area's mini-version of the Ohio Renaissance Festival...but with an emphasis on Scandinavian pirates, the Dark Ages, and a blend of history and fantasy.
The Ashville Viking Festival is 10 to 6 Saturday and 10 to 5 Sunday.
