The City of Chillicothe will expand its annual community yard sale to occur in conjunction with the City’s large item pickup. This means that the community yard sale will occur for five consecutive weekends. Community yard sales will occur the week before residents’ large-item pick-up.
Those who wish to participate in their assigned weekend will have their permit fee waived. Those holding a yard sale on a weekend that does not correspond to their large item pick-up must pay the standard $5.00 fee. By spreading out yard sale weekends, it's hoped that residents will be able to visit more sales.
Monday Trash Pick-Up:
- Yard Sale: May 26, May 27, May 28
- Large Item Pick-Up: May 29 to June 2
Tuesday Trash Pick-Up:
- Yard Sale: June 2, June 3, June 4
- Large Item Pick-Up: June 5 to June 9
Wednesday Trash Pick-Up:
- Yard Sale: June 9, June 10, June 11
- Large Item Pick-Up: June 12 – June 16
Thursday Trash Pick-Up:
- Yard Sale: June 16, June 17, June 18
- Large Item Pick-Up: June 19 – June 23
Friday Trash Pick-Up:
- Yard Sale: June 23, June 24, June 25
- Large Item Pick-Up: June 26 – June 30
