Washington Blue Lions Play for a Shot at the OHSAA DII Championship, Friday

The Washington Blue Lions baseball team is set to make an appearance in the Division II State Semifinal this Friday, June 9th.

The No. 5 Blue Lions will go up against Ontario at 1:00 p.m. this Friday at Akron’s Canal Park.

Washington is currently 27-1 with the Warriors holding a record of 16-14.

The other DII State Baseball Semi on Friday has No. 7 Dayton Chaminade Julienne taking on Chagrin Falls Kenston at 10:00 a.m.

Coverage of Friday’s Blue Lions vs Warriors game will be broadcasted on Buckeye Country 101.5 WCHO-FM out of Washington CH. Pregame coverage will begin around 12:45 on Friday afternoon.

The Division II State Baseball Championship will be played on Saturday, June 6th in Akron at 4:00 p.m. Should the Blue Lions advance to the State Championship, Buckeye Country 101.5 WCHO-FM will provide broadcast coverage of that game as well.
