19th Century-Style Baseball to be Played at Adena Mansion Sunday

Old timey baseball returns to Chillicothe’s Adena Mansion and Gardens this Sunday.

That annual event offers spectators a 19th Century-style baseball game played under the rules of the 1860s. It’ll be the Adena Worthingtons taking on the Ohio Village Muffins.

The exhibition match begins at 2pm June 11th on the grounds of Adena Mansion and Gardens, and is free to attend. For more information, log on to Adenamansion.com.

Also, starting at 2pm there is Adena historian Mary Anne Brown's presentation "This Old House: The Two Restorations of the Adena Mansion and the Development of the Surrounding Grounds.

And don't forget the Renaissance Singers' Annual Sacred Concert at First Presbyterian Church...also starting 2pm Sunday.
