Our Part Of Ohio Experiencing Moderate Drought

Several central and southern Ohio counties are now experiencing moderate drought conditions. Areas of the region have been abnormally dry so far for the month of June, but now all of Fayette, Ross, Madison, Marion, and Union counties are rated in D-One drought stage, according to the National Drought Mitigation Center.

The majority of Delaware, Morrow, Franklin, and Pickaway counties are seeing early drought conditions as well.

The next best chance for rain in our area is forecasted for Sunday.
