The last show of the year at the Pump House Center for the Arts turns the art gallery into a giant gift shop. The 2024 “Holiday Show” features 10 artists
and everything is for sale.

Don Watts, a new volunteer at the Pump House and a new artist in the area, gave me a tour of the show (and of the year-round gift shop area) where you can find any gift you need, at its opening on December 5th. Watts also has some art on sale (as do I). Hear both of us in the below video tour; the Pump House Facebook page also has a video tour.

Most of the 2-D art is medium-sized canvases or prints and smaller, including postcards and cardstock. 3-D art includes Christmas ornaments, jewelry, and figurines.

The Pump House is also skate central, where you can get proper footwear for the annual iceless skating rink in the parking lot, sponsored by the Mighty Children’s Museum.

The free public art gallery opens at 11 except on Mondays, and has a Facebook page and website. The Pump House will be closed for its usual January break.
