Elle King Clarifies She's 'Still Pregnant,' But Baby No. 2 Is 'Coming Soon'

Elle King is “still pregnant,” but Baby No. 2 is due to arrive “soon.”

King, 35, shared a photo on her Instagram story on Thursday evening (February 13) zoomed in on a bunch of pink and red heart-shaped balloons for Valentine’s Day. She wrote “I am mommy,” though she clarified on the next slide that she hasn’t welcomed her second child just yet.

“I am still pregnant, just doing mommy things,” King wrote, “but thanks for all the messages 😇. BB is coming soon though. I hope everyone feels love today, tomorrow, and every day.”

On Friday (February 14), King also shared partner Dan Tooker’s story. Tooker shared a photograph of the couple cradling KIng’s baby bump as a tribute to the “love of my life.”

King and Tooker, her former fiancé, confirmed in September that they were back together after a brief separation. She explained at that time that they opted to reconcile for their son, Lucky Levi Tooker, who had recently turned 3. Shortly after King announced she and Tooker are back together, they revealed the singer-songwriter is pregnant with the couple’s second child. They shared a gender reveal to confirm they were “doubling down 💙,” King captioned to announce another baby boy on the way.

King is one of several members of the country music community welcoming a baby into the family in 2025. Late legend Toby Keith’s son, Stelen Keith Covel, announced he and his wife are expecting Baby No. 1. Lady A’s Hillary Scott also shared that she and her husband will welcome Baby No. 4 this year.
