Announcing Sydney's Pet Project

iHeartRadio Chillicothe is proud to announce the launch of Sydney's Pet Project, a new community initiative designed to help homeless pets find loving forever homes.

Each week, Sydney Newsome will spotlight a pet currently available for adoption through the Ross County Humane Society. Featured animals will be showcased across the websites of 94 Country WKKJ-FM and Mix 106.5 WQLX-FM, giving local residents an opportunity to learn more about pets in need of a family. In addition the pets will be featured in an on-air segment every Thursday on both stations.

The goal of Sydney's Pet Project is simple: connect adoptable animals with caring owners while raising awareness about the important work being done by the Ross County Humane Society. By highlighting a different pet each week, the program hopes to increase adoptions and encourage community members to consider welcoming a rescue pet into their homes.

"Every pet deserves a chance at a happy, loving home," said Sydney Newsome. "We're excited to partner with the Ross County Humane Society and use our platforms to help these amazing animals find the families they deserve."

Listeners and website visitors are encouraged to check back weekly to meet the latest featured pet, learn its story, and find information on how to adopt.
