Damage surveys are underway across central Ohio after a line of powerful storms. The National Weather Service says high winds, heavy rain and hail battered the region overnight, setting off tornado and flash flood warnings.
The storm is being blamed for spawning a tornado at about 2:30am on Milner Road near Leesburg in Highland County, Highland county homeowner Daniel Yoder says he was asleep when the storm came through.
Yoder says they heard a banging noise outside and an upstairs window was sucked out of the home. He says when they went outside, they noticed the uprooted trees and damages.
A barn was reportedly also damaged in the area,
