Another plane crash has been reported in the Scioto County area. The Highway Patrol reported it in Washington Township, just west of Portsmouth, at about 7pm Friday.
The passenger sustained minor injuries and the pilot was unharmed in the two-seat homebuilt 2006 Vans Aircraft RV-9A. The Highway Patrol did not specify the nature of the crash.
Two died in a plane crash in the area Friday, May 29th.
The FAA and NTSB were contacted and will be conducting their own investigation. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Scioto County Sheriff Department and the Washington Township Fire Department.
